Jacob W. Diviney, Esq.
Jake Diviney is the dedicated owner and attorney at Gill, McManamon & Diviney, committed to serving the legal needs of clients across Central Pennsylvania. A native of the region, Jake’s path to the legal profession was shaped by a strong academic foundation, practical experience, and a deep commitment to his community.
A magna cum laude graduate of Juniata College, Jake earned his degree in Politics with distinction, excelling both academically and athletically. As a four-year letterman and team captain for the Juniata College football team, he demonstrated leadership both on and off the field. He was also recognized as a National Strength and Conditioning Association All-American, showcasing his dedication to excellence in all pursuits.
Jake began his legal career as a law clerk at the firm’s predecessor, Gill, McManamon & Ghaner, before attending Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law, where he graduated in the top ten of his class with distinction. He then gained valuable experience as an associate attorney at both a regional firm in Blair County and a Top Am Law 100 firm in Pittsburgh, sharpening his skills in a wide range of legal matters.
Today, Jake focuses his practice on Estate Planning & Probate, Civil Litigation, Real Estate, Business Law, and Landlord-Tenant Law. He also serves as Solicitor for Huntingdon County Children and Youth Services and various municipalities throughout Central Pennsylvania, providing legal guidance on critical local government matters.
Jake is licensed to practice in all Pennsylvania State Courts and the United States District Courts for the Middle and Western Districts of Pennsylvania. In addition to his legal practice, he is an adjunct professor of law at Juniata College, where he shares his expertise with future legal professionals.
Outside of work, Jake remains active through lifting, hunting, and fishing throughout Huntingdon County. His deep roots in the community, coupled with his unwavering commitment to his clients, make him a trusted legal advisor and an integral part of Gill, McManamon & Diviney.
